How can we put in print what we feel about Reijaa and her accolades she has given the breed in Australasia through her foals, that have achieve studbook and competition accolades. She was an ambassador for the breed for so many years. Her mild caring nature.. won hearts from old and young alike. That is what it was all about. We owned her since she was 8 years old, and lost her in her 22nd year. She was indeed a lady, that had the charm, kindness and concern...and....she will always be our baby. She will be with us forever in memory. She was the First UK bred mare to receive the coveted Ster status. She was purchased by Harrods of Knightsbridge, London at 6months of age and became their Foundation mare. She remained in their ownership until we purchased her. Trained to ride and drive. Reijaa, along with Klaske are presently the only Friesian mares in New Zealand to have produced Ster graded offspring. Her Ster Daughter lives in Australia. Lest we forget.........
